 Remember is when you think of a memory

Example: I remember the first time when I went to a zoo, I was 5 years old.
یادم میاد اولین بار که رفتم باغ وحش ۵ سالم بود.

 Remind is when a person or thing makes you think about something.

Example: My mother reminded me to wash the dishes after I finished eating lunch.
مادرم به من یادآوری کرد که بعد از اتمام نهار ظرفها را بشورم.
